From Beginner to Dive Instructor: Our diving education courses are designed for all experience levels of divers, from beginners to dive instructors. We offer courses complying with the standards of CMAS (VDST GERMANY, TDA/CMAS Thailand), PADI, and SSI. Professional, highly qualified Aqua Divers Instructor Trainers conduct the courses. Cross-over courses to gain SSI and CMAS Dive Instructor status can be arranged anytime on request.

Official recognition of status by the respective dive association is achieved by cooperation of CMAS Germany's partner association IDA with the CMAS Thailand Diving Association (TDA)! Supported by state-of-the-art A/V technology, our multi-lingual dive instructors prepare the students for their first lessons in the pool. Sufficiently prepared, afterwards the students can enjoy their first open water dives at the Aqua Divers House Reefs.

Learning to dive is much easier than you may believe, and within just a few days you are the proud holder of a Dive Brevet that is valid and recognized worldwide! Aqua Divers offer excellent 5 Star Education Facilities; we are among the very few dive operations in Thailand that offer education according to CMAS, PADI, and SSI standards.

Diving is one of the most fascinating, and one of the safest recreational activities, especially after undergoing a thorough and safety-conscious education with Aqua Divers. Whether you are a beginner looking for a relaxed and stress-free way to dive into underwater sports, or an experienced diver who wants to expand their experience with an advanced course, you will see that diving is pure fun with Aqua Divers!

The Aqua Divers Educational Staff consists of highly qualified dive instructors who are, without exception, members of PADI and/or CMAS and/or SSI. Classroom lessons and swimming-pool (or restricted open water) training lessons are conducted in one of the Aqua Divers Dive Centers. Air-conditioned rooms for theory lessons are available in the Dive Centers or a few steps away in the hotel/resort. If you prefer the beach for learning, like most Aqua Divers customers do, then such lessons will be conducted in a relaxed beach atmosphere.

For the initial underwater experience and for practical training lessons, we move over to the pool or the restricted open water , i.e. the sea. Highlights of your education will be the dives at the Aqua Divers House Reefs even at world-class dive spots in the Andaman Sea. During and after their education, dive students will explore the fantastic and unforgettable underwater world together with a dive instructor to hone their newly gained skills.

In order to guarantee a thorough education in the best possible manner, Aqua Divers NEVER schedule more than four dive students per dive instructor.

Education for Kids / Diving for Kids

All Aqua Divers Dive Centers offer opportunities to explore the underwater world under professional care also for the youngest members of the family. All dive instructors have been specially trained for diving with kids, and the dive centers are equipped with special dive equipment for kids.

Kids from the age of 8 years and up may take internationally recognized courses for kids or youths like Scuba Ranger, Flipper, Junior Diver oder the Jugend Tauchsportabzeichen (Youth Diver Badge).

Half-DAYS-TRIPS & HOUSE REEFS DIVING

The Aqua Divers House Reefs are dive spots to a diver's heart's delight. At a depth of 6-18 meters (18-54 ft) they feature a multitude of stone- and soft-coral gardens with a unique diversity of marine life. The various dive spots, all of them well worth seeing, can be reached by boat in just 5-10 minutes. They are well suited for night dives, early-morning dives, and also for snorkelling.

Of course, our trip destinations include Bang Tao and the Island Koh Waeo, a veritable little jewel. In addition, we offer trips to a sunken TIN MINING Wreck, discovered by Aqua Divers in 1996. The Island Koh Waeo is an exceptional dive spot: the picturesque rock formations, the beautiful anemone carpets and coral gardens, and the astonishing marine life diversity are among the best you can wish for.

Apart from anemones and corals, at diving depths of 10-30m (30-90 ft) und a visibility of 10-25m (30-75 ft), the dive spots of Island Koh Waeo not only enchant you with turtles and huge puffer fish, they also offer macro highlights.

The Tin Mining Wreck is submerged at a maximum depth of 16m (48 ft) and keeps you fascinated on dives with a duration of up to one hour (non-deco dives).

Other dive spots are: Mai Khao Reef, Mike's Corner, The Marine Park, Turtle Field, Marriott Paradise, Stone Reef Garden, Stingray Point, Anemone Point, The Rock, Nothern Shark Point, and Stone Coral Garden.

Non-divers and snorklers will enjoy the excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions and the colorful underwater scenery at our house reefs and Island Koh Waeo.
